Travel Alberta wants your first few days to be as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Our onboarding program involves an action-packed fun-filled 3-day itinerary that includes tours, group lunches, orientation sessions, and many great ways to meet your new Team Members.

Team Members participate in the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) or the Management Employees Pension Plan (MEPP). Both plans are defined benefit plans that are administered by the Alberta Pension Services Corporation.

Learning & Development
Travel Alberta supports and encourages professional development and continued learning for its Team Members in our effort to nurture organizational excellence. Team Members can receive up to 100% reimbursement of eligible expenses for approved L&D opportunities.
Glue Factory
The Glue Factory recognizes the importance of teamwork and building relationships at work. This social committee was created to enhance the social environment for Team Members at Travel Alberta by providing activities and events which focus on socialization, appreciation, recognition, team work, wellness and philanthropy.

The goal of the cheers4peers award is to show appreciation to Team Members who demonstrate Travel Alberta’s Values and Principles in their day to day actions and activities. Monthly draws select winners.
Alberta Experience Award
The Alberta Experience Award recognizes Team members who demonstrate Travel Alberta’s Corporate Values in their overall attitude, behavior and accountability. This award is valued at $500.00.
Alberta Crusader Award
This special award is presented by Travel Alberta’s Board of Directors only once a year. The recipient is someone who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to helping Travel Alberta become the pre-eminent tourism marketing agency in Canada. This award is valued at $1500.00
