The Canadian Wilderness School & Expeditions is a small adventure company based out of Canmore Alberta, and our focus is on creating incredible experiences through small group adventures. With group sizes of 2 - 14 participants, we specialize not only in unique adventure trips, but also in outdoor educational programs and extended expeditions.
For the 2014 summer season (June - October) we are looking for enthusiastic German speaking guides. Applicants must be German speaking. Native language skills are not necessary but fluent proficiency should be of a level to communicate effectively with native speakers.
Guiding would include trips that center around the Rockies with some that travel out to the west coast including Vancouver Island and which can range in length from 1 week all the way up to 19-day long trips.
Previous guiding experience is not a prerequisite (training will be provided), but any previous guiding experience is a strong asset. Good people skills is a must!
Anyone who is interested should have previous outdoors experience, aka hiking, canoeing, traveling, camping, sightseeing, etc. Applicants should posses the minimum certification:
- Standard first aid/CPR Level - 1
- Class 4 Drivers License
