The full-time receptionist is a member of the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum (ASHFM) team and is accountable for supporting the ASHFM team through the administrative tasks and general office duties.
Responsible for ASHFM reception, ticket sales, group bookings, administrative office duties, stats, database updates, creative design and visitor services duties in the absence of the Visitor Services member.
Reception: General office duties include: greeting visitors, ticket sales, organization, typing, filing, processing credit card charges, answering phones, taking messages, general inquiries, mail merge, fax, photocopying, scanning, e-mail, meeting preparations including catering. General office assistance with Nomination process, Induction Banquet and Golf Tournament including confirmations, ticket processing and record keeping. Manage bookings for group tours and meeting room.
Database: general updating. Manage statistical data.
Creative Design: Newsletter: create with – InDesign software. Create event posters and museum exhibit signage. Create marketing ads. Design Induction Banquet and Golf programs.
Visitor Services: Provides visitor services to the general public in the absence of the Visitor Services member when required. Provide educational program tours on occasion when required.
General Duties: Ensure meeting room is presentable for the next client. Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Hours: 7 hours/day - 35 hours / week; Rotating Weekends.
