Reporting to the Director, MICE, the Team Coordinator, MICE is responsible for supporting marketing and administrative projects that contribute to the strategic and tactical proficiency of the department. This position plays a key role in communicating with industry partners and external clients, facilitates activities for the MICE Business Development Directors, and provides support to the Director, MICE.
Projects may include, but are not limited to; processing expenses and invoices, budget reconciliation, general administrative duties, CRM management and expertise, tradeshows/ client event coordination, sales calls & FAM/ SITE visit support, coordinating advertising in print and online, and generating collateral material with support of shared services.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills enable you to manage competing demands and urgent deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience in researching and compiling information
- Experience budget tracking and reconciling
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Knowledge and experience in marketing
- Knowledge and experience in tourism industry is an asset
Your diploma or degree in Marketing, Tourism or Business Administration will be complemented with at least two years of professional administrative experience. This position is based in the Calgary office. Classification: Coordinator 3, Salary Range: $53,400 - $66,744 Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Employment Status: Full Time
