The World Waterpark Food and Beverage Manager will assist the Waterpark Manager in overseeing the operations of the Food and Beverage outlets and service in the Waterpark. This position will be responsible for assisting the Waterpark Manager in ensuring a positive working environment for employees and a safe, pleasant experience for our guests.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Assisting the Waterpark Manager to achieve the food and beverage business objectives and revenue goals set out for the facility through innovative operations management and planning.

-Providing leadership and staff development to all F&B employees in the WWP through effective role modeling and coaching techniques while assisting with the employee relations, labour costs, and training activities of the F&B department.

-Overseeing and developing proper food preparation techniques and practices to ensure top food quality and efficient service times for our guests while utilizing industry knowledge to make recommendations for new products, menus, equipment, catering processes, and daily F&B operations.

-Planning and executing all F&B special events and catering functions to ensure they are carried out to successfully maximize revenues and control all related costs.

-Ensuring the Waterpark F&B outlets are adhering to required cleanliness, liquor control and safety standards while ensuring positive interactions with outside agencies, cleaning and maintenance contractors, and governing bodies to ensure all health and liquor regulations are being met at all times.

-Preparation of effective F&B inventory controls and reports, establishing proper stock rotation processes and maintaining accurate documentation techniques.

-Being called upon to deal with all aspects of F&B and Waterpark related customer service issues, public inquiries, and guest concerns in the absence of the Waterpark Manager.

Desired Qualifications:

-A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience acting as in a Management or Assistant Management role within a casual service or quick service restaurant or related facility.

-Post secondary education in Business Management, hospitality management or in a related discipline.

-A sound grasp of food and beverage industry business principals, time management techniques, business development strategies, and staff management practices.

-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills complemented by strong large scale team building and motivating abilities with the ability to mentor those new to the workforce.

-Enhanced computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office Applications.
