The Fort Museum now is accepting application for 2017 season.
Delivery of a historical character in “March of the Red Coats” play, followed by interactive scenarios to the visiting public and school children. Training and experience as an actor preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge and interest in local NWMP and Blackfoot history is an asset.
Mounted Patrol Riders
Will perform the Musical Ride, care for horses, tack, etc. and interact with visitors. Riding experience preferred but not essential.
Assistant Grounds Keeper/Maintenance
Responsible for keeping the Fort grounds clean and groomed, watering lawns and flower beds, light carpentry duties, cleaning washrooms and general maintenance. Grounds keeping/carpentry/janitorial experience preferred but not mandatory.
Duties will include gift shop sales, admissions, customer service, keeping the shelves organized and restocked, and the store neat and clean. Must be able to present guided visitor tours and commentary for the Musical Ride. Experience in retail, tourism, customer service, and knowledge of our area are preferred but not essential.
