We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong initiative and a passion for planning and facilitating high-quality and engaging events to join our Visitor Services team. You will use your strong project management skills and ability to lead project teams, including volunteers, to successfully execute events. Experience with budgeting, sponsorship programs and volunteer programs will assist you in co-ordinating all aspects of anchor and special events that align with our goals and objectives. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to build professional networks and relationships are required.
Completion of postsecondary education in a related field in addition to progressive experience in co-ordinating events of various sizes and target audiences is essential. Knowledge of Alberta’s tourism industry and parliamentary process are definite assets.
Salary to $64,860, dependent on qualifications. A comprehensive benefit package is also available.
