Tour Guides

As an ambassador for the Alberta Legislature you will use your dynamic interpretation and presentation skills to deliver educational, general interest and specialized tours and programs. To engage our visitors in an exceptional experience, you will demonstrate professional client interactions and effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment, adaptability and a strong team orientation.

Postsecondary education and/or related training are required. Knowledge of educational programming, cultural and/or historical interpretive techniques and an interest in history and the political process are preferred. Proficiency in French or other languages is an asset.

Starting rate of pay for Tour Guides is $17.10 per hour with an increase to $19.93 per hour upon completion of training plus 11.2% in lieu of holiday and statutory entitlements.

Please note that this position works full-time hours. Schedules may vary, including weekday and/or weekend shifts.
