The Legislative Assembly Office supports the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly – providing nonpartisan procedural, administrative and educational services.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, innovative and collaborative individual to coordinate key tourism, industry and partner engagement opportunities for the Legislative Assembly. You will identify, plan and develop promotional initiatives in support of our programming, including tours, exhibitions, education and outreach programs, events, and for the retail store.
Your flexibility and organizational skills will be demonstrated in handling a variety of projects simultaneously while looking at the broader picture of site visitation and visitor experience. The experience you will bring to this role includes creating tourism messaging for promotional materials, developing short- and long-term tourism plans, coordinating projects and associated budgets, envisioning promotional materials and fostering professional relationships and partnerships.
Excellent interpersonal skills, superb writing skills, strong public relations abilities and organizational capabilities are required for this role. Knowledge of Alberta’s tourism industry and three to five years of progressive experience in public relations or marketing with the completion of postsecondary education in a related field are required.
Salary from $51,996 - $67,644, dependent on qualifications. A comprehensive benefit package is also available.
