The Legislative Assembly Office supports the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly – providing nonpartisan procedural, administrative and educational services.

The Legislative Assembly Office is seeking a dynamic and inspiring leader to maximize the programming, special events and retail opportunities available in our new Visitor Centre. The Centre will house a theatre, permanent and temporary galleries, event space and a retail shop in the redeveloped Federal Public Building. It will be the responsibility of the Manager of Visitor Services to provide overall direction and management of the people and processes that use these spaces to foster meaningful and positive visitor experiences.
To continue the development of Visitor Services, you will be an accomplished leader with a compelling vision and demonstrated business acumen. You will draw on your experience developing and implementing business plans, transforming goals into workable objectives and managing the financial performance of your team. You will also provide strategic thinking to guide and coach a creative team of professionals in the delivery of top notch programs (interpretive, school and public), exhibitions and special events.
Your career path has provided you with the skills which will allow you to represent the LAO and VS team with a high degree of diplomacy and tact.
You are a senior level manager with several years of progressive management experience in a related environment in addition to postsecondary education in tourism, history, commerce/business or education.
Salary from $83,904-$128,316 dependent on qualifications. A comprehensive benefit package is also available.
