Reporting to the Director, Brand Experiences, the Manager, Brand is responsible for managing the development and communication of the Brand strategy, its creative and its assets. This role champions the Travel Alberta brand and is integral to bringing the brand to life throughout the organization and our marketing campaigns. Working with agencies and stakeholders, this is role will develop brand guidelines and best practices, oversee the creation and management of brand assets, and collaborate in the creation and project management of marketing collateral.
As Manager, Brand you understand the principles of branding and its influence on organizational culture and stakeholders. Your superior communication and presentation skills together with your ability to act with conviction will influence stakeholders and steward the Travel Alberta brand though a variety of channels. Your skill in managing projects of various sizes and creative scope along with your ability to identify and solve complex problems will enable you to plan and be accountable for results. Your degree in marketing, communications, business or related field is complemented with five or more years of progressive responsibility in brand management and experience understanding the intricacies of tourism branding is an asset. Your dedication and passion in branding and marketing has taken your career to this point. Now, it is time to advance to a new level by stepping into Travel Alberta’s exciting working environment!
Some domestic travel is required.
This position is based in the Calgary office.
