The Culinary Tourism Event Programmer is a position shared between the City of St. Albert and the Alberta Culinary Tourism Alliance (ACTA) (50/50 time split), and will provide leadership within both organizations to program their respective culinary tourism event programming needs.
This exceptional individual will develop the full cycle of culinary event programming including the development, coordinating, executing, and evaluation of events put on by and in collaboration with the City of St. Albert and ACTA.
The primary events included in the Programmer’s portfolio are 1) developing a brand new signature horti-culinary event in St. Albert, and 2) developing ACTA’s Alberta Ate Chef Collaborative event program. The Programmer will also provide event consulting support on other industry led events in partnership with ACTA and assist in the day-to-day execution of ACTA’s strategic plan.
This position is suited for a highly adaptable, self-motivated individual with a passion for creating and executing exciting, high-quality events.
