Rendez-vous Canada 2013 will generate sales for Alberta

Travel Alberta is attending Rendez-vous Canada Marketplace (RVC) in Ottawa, May 12-15, with Alberta tourism industry partners and hundreds of influential international travel buyers.

Hosted by the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC), RVC is Canada’s premier international tourism marketplace, annually bringing together international buyers and Canadian sellers of tourism products and services. International tour operators, wholesalers and packagers come to RVC seeking enticing new products, services and packages that will stand out in a crowded global marketplace. In all, close to 1,500 tourism delegates will attend the four-day event, representing an estimated 1,100 tourism sellers from Canada and 350 buyers from around the world. Canada is a major player in the international tourism arena and RVC plays a significant role annually in driving tourism business to Canada, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.

Travel Alberta annually attends RVC with Alberta tourism industry partners to represent our piece of the pie. Travel Alberta has a quadruple appointment booth at the marketplace and will conduct more than 150 appointments with buyers from our key markets.

Save the date - RVC 2014 will take place May 27-30 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC.
