En[tour]preneur - Noun. A creative and passionate individual interested in a career in tourism. 

Does this describe you? Apply now to join Bardish Chagger, Canada’s Minister of Small Business and Tourism, in Ottawa from August 13 to 15, 2017‎, for two days of learning about entrepreneurship in the tourism sector.     

This is your opportunity to learn from some of Canada’s most creative tourism movers and shakers. ‎  

Are you:
  • 18–24 years old?
  • Interested in tourism and entrepreneurship? 
  • Thinking about starting a tourism business?
  • Passionate about travel, especially within Canada? 
  • Interested in sharing input on how to make tourism experiences great for millennials?

There are only 50 spots available, so don’t wait! 

As a participant you will:
  • Meet tourism operators and youth from across Canada; 
  • Mingle with representatives from the top five tourism-related service sectors – accommodations, food and beverage, recreation and entertainment, transportation, and travel services; 
  • Find out how entrepreneurs are promoting their business ventures and experiences; 
  • and learn more about entrepreneurial opportunities in tourism.

Note: Youth selected from outside the National Capital Region will be reimbursed for expenses related to attending the event.
