Travel Alberta selects DentsuBos to support their marketing activities in Asia
Travel Alberta has selected DentsuBos to support their marketing activities in the Asian markets. As part of the new business partnership, DentsuBos will help execute innovative and integrated marketing initiatives in targeted Asian markets of China, Japan and South Korea that will deliver on Travel Alberta’s business strategy and marketing plan.
With increasingly more visitors coming to Alberta from Asia, Travel Alberta was seeking a global agency partner with expertise in targeting Asian markets who can support and deliver on their growth strategy to achieve $10 billion in tourism revenues by 2020.
“Asia is a priority market for us and it was important to have the right partner relationship to capitalise on a growing opportunity to attract Asian travellers to Alberta,” said Phil Klassen, Vice President Global Consumer Marketing at Travel Alberta. “By adding in-market Asian resources and expertise of DentsuBos to our partner mix, while maintaining operations in Canada, we are well positioned to increase travel visitation from target Asian markets,” he added.
“Travel Alberta is a leader in the tourism industry,” mentioned James Sauter, Executive Vice President at DentsuBos. “We are proud to be associated with such an innovative marketing organization and an important industry supporting economic growth in Alberta and Canada. This is about growing tourism revenues and contributing to thriving and vibrant communities in Alberta. We are anxious to put the strength of the Dentsu Aegis Network to work to achieve that objective.”
DentsuBos will partner with their network agencies ICUC and Cardinal Path to service Travel Alberta.
