Familiar faces named to Travel Alberta's international marketing

Travel Alberta is pleased to announce two of our team members have accepted new roles within our organization’s International Marketing unit.

Darlene Fedoroshyn has been named Marketing Director, Asia and Mito Ota has been promoted to Marketing Director, Europe & Australia.

Darlene’s new role in the Asia unit moves her from the Europe & Australia unit where she had been Marketing Director since June 2007. Darlene originally came to Travel Alberta from Tourism Calgary where she was Manager of International Sales in the Asia and European markets from 2003-2007.

Mito’s promotion to the role of Marketing Director, Europe & Australia from her manager role will take effect on January 2, 2014. Mito has worked with Travel Alberta since July 2000 and has extensive experience with our marketing strategies and projects in these key markets.

Reporting to the Executive Director, International, Darlene and Mito will lead the strategic direction and the development and implementation of brand-integrated marketing plans in their respective markets. They will work in partnership with national, provincial, regional and private industry partners to market Alberta’s authentic experiences in breathtaking landscapes with the support of Travel Alberta’s in-market representatives.
