Calling on all Alberta Tourism Partners for Offers, Packaging and Events for Summer 2016
Showcasing your regional activities, attractions and events has never been more important. With more Albertans staying closer to home this year, there is even more opportunity for you to increase visitation to your region or product through ATIS.
All content entered into ATIS will be displayed on travelalberta.com and distributed to a number of Travel Alberta’s marketing channels and marketing campaigns including:
- News and TV Segments
- Search and Display Media
- Social Media
We will kick off our media campaign next week with segments on Global TV Edmonton and Global TV Calgary showcasing many of the events and offers that are available “to grab” this summer.
What We Need
One focus of our regional campaign this year will be Stay and Play packages and Events. Special offers and events create compelling invitations for visitors to get out and explore their backyard and try something new this year.
Stay and Play Packages and Events
Stay and Play packages are a great way to get your offer or experience in front of more potential visitors. They can help to drive awareness of the attractions and activities that your region offers, with the concrete ability to book now. A Stay and Play package typically features an overnight stay, paired with at least one activity (attraction passes, tickets to a special event, gift card to a spa or retail outlet, or dining offer). For optimum success and exposure, we recommend that your package features a special rate or a value add.
If you do not have any Stay and Play packages we still encourage you to get any additional offers into ATIS to take advantage of Travel Alberta’s marketing opportunities.
We’ve expanded our definition of offers to accommodate single experience or package offers, with or without a discount or value add.
