Save the date for TIAC Tourism Congress

The Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) presents Tourism Congress, December 2 – 4, in Ottawa. Delegates from across the country will once again come together and interact with the elected officials and decision-makers whose departments and agencies impact upon the industry.

This year's Congress features some of Canada's most influential political figures, leading industry analysts, media personalities, and top-notch executives and entrepreneurs - come and join the conversation!

Registration fees include participation at all sessions, the Chair's Opening Reception on Monday evening, lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, a ticket to the Canadian Tourism Awards gala & dinner on Tuesday, and scheduled refreshment breaks.

Tourism Congress Co-Chairs: two of Canada’s leading tourism marketers have been named as co-chairs of the 2013 edition of the Tourism Congress: Julie Canning, President and CEO of Banff Lake Louise Tourism and Emmanuelle Legault, Vice-President, Marketing at Tourisme Montréal. In addition to co-hosting the travel industry's premier national conference, the co-chairs will help TIAC design a program for the Tourism Congress that is valuable, insightful and relevant for the sector. 

About TIAC - Founded in 1930, the Tourism Industry Association of Canada is the only national organization representing the full cross-section of Canada's $84.8 billion tourism industry. TIAC's members include air and passenger rail services, airport authorities, local and provincial destination authorities, hotels, attractions and tour operators. TIAC is responsible for representing tourism interests at the national level, and its advocacy work involves promoting and supporting policies, programs and activities that will benefit the sector's growth and development.
