The AVIP Conference is an annual one and a half day event that brings together managers and supervisors of visitor information centres (VICs) from across Alberta to examine how communities today are “breaking new ground” in the visitor servicing industry. Delegates can look forward to engaging breakout sessions, a dynamic keynote presentation, and exciting pre-conference activities. The AVIP Conference is also hosted in conjunction with the Ammy Awards Gala which celebrates the achievements of individuals, VICs, and their outstanding services in the areas of operational, visitor services, and individual excellence. Attendance is free for AVIP members and includes all conference fees and meals.

Spotlight Opportunities
This event also provides a chance for tourism related organizations to participate in one of the many spotlight opportunities. This is a great way for organizations to promote their products and services, gain visibility for their organization, collaborate with visitor servicing representatives from across the province, and contribute to the success of the conference. Various spotlight opportunities are available for this event. Details of these opportunities are outlined in the registration form.
