AVIP Conference 2015 Collaborative Opportunity

Interested in showcasing your community? Alberta Culture and Tourism would like to invite all interested Alberta Visitor Information Provider (AVIP) members the opportunity to host the AVIP Conference 2015 in their community.

AVIP Conferences are normally held in mid-late September. Recent AVIP Conferences were held in Drumheller in 2014, Grande Prairie in 2013, and Medicine Hat in 2012. The goal of the conference is to bring together those involved in the provision of visitor services and information for a day and a half of networking, learning, and sharing. Attendees come from across the Province and include a variety of tourism-related backgrounds from managers and directors to supervisors and volunteers of visitor information centres, attractions, and museums.

AVIP Conference 2015 is tentatively scheduled for September 29-30, 2015. Optional pre-conference activities will take place the day before the event and provides a great opportunity to showcase partners from your regional area.
