Medicine Hat Accommodation Association Announces Partnership with Dunmore Equestrian Centre

The Medicine Hat Accommodation Association is proud to announce their five year $150,000.00 partnership with the Dunmore Equestrian Centre, soon to be southern Alberta’s newest equestrian riding centre.

The Dunmore Equestrian Centre is to be built in the heart of ranching and horse country just off the Trans Canada Highway in Dunmore Alberta. The 2016 objective is to build an outdoor riding arena and continue developing the plan for the indoor equestrian facility. The facility will eventually host large equestrian and agricultural events several times per month, drawing hundreds of participants and tourists to Medicine Hat and area.

“We are very excited to get this project started, it’s all coming together now,” stated Blair Reid, Dunmore Equestrian Society. “After years of hard work by our volunteer members we hope to break ground in early May and construct our first facility, the outdoor riding arena.”

The Medicine Hat Accommodation Association is a group of local hotels that partner for joint marketing efforts. “This is the first in a series of Legacy Projects the hotel association will be investing in,” announced Elisha Ammann, Executive Director. “Enhancing, or in this case, creating new attractions and programs to bring in out of town visitors are our goals. The Dunmore Equestrian Centre will do exactly that.”

As a founding sponsor the Medicine Hat Accommodation Association will be the official hotel partner of the Dunmore Equestrian Centre and be entitled to marketing rights in the areas of destination and tourism, promoting its hotels and on-site advertising.
