Pincher Creek, Alberta (July 13 2011) – To promote its ‘”My Alberta SouthWest’ video contest, Alberta SouthWest (AlbertaSW) is sending a videographer to communities in AlbertaSW over the next three weeks to intercept people on the street to ask them questions about the region and about what makes Alberta SouthWest the greatest place to live, work and visit.

“In addition to random on the street interviews, we will be interviewing local celebrities and people of interest in a number of communities in AlbertaSW,” says Bev Thornton, Executive Director, Alberta SouthWest Regional Economic Development.

“We are hoping that Albertans will be inspired by these interviews to prepare and share a personal video of their favourite experience in AlbertaSW and submit it for our contest.”  Entries will be posted on www.myalbertasouthwest.com and may also become part of a promotional video to showcase the region.
