Nominations now open for the Visitor Information Centres’ AMMY Awards
The annual AMMY Awards recognize achievements of both individuals and visitor information centres (VICs) and their outstanding services in the areas of operational, visitor services and individual excellence. Named for Alberta’s official gemstone, Ammolite – one of the rarest and most unique gemstones on earth – recipients of the AMMY Awards are as special as the stone itself. Be recognized by visitors, staff, and your community for your passion for your province and for providing exceptional service.

The AMMY Awards are open to ALL Alberta VICs whether you operate out of a museum, are a stand-alone centre, are seasonal, accredited or non-accredited. The AMMY Awards are an opportunity for individuals and VICs to be recognized and help to promote excellence within the AVIP network.

The winners will be announced at the AMMY Awards Gala held in conjunction with the 2016 AVIP Conference on September 27, 2016 in Spruce Grove, AB.
