Destination Canada Announces Co-operative Marketing Program

Earlier in the year, the federal government committed to invest $10 million per year for 3 years in the Connecting America marketing program to increase the number of leisure travellers to Canada from key American regions.

Destination Canada has designed a multi-faceted marketing program to maximize penetration into key US markets. A unique offering under Connecting America is the newly-announced co-operative marketing fund to co-invest in new initiatives that target specific sectors like skiing, angling, culinary, golf and festivals & events that will drive incremental business into Canada.
