Cooperative Marketing Investment Program

The mission of the Cooperative Marketing Investment Program is to increase the marketing capacity of our industry partners. Our strategy is to grow tourism revenues by investing in industry-led marketing partnerships that foster collaboration, drive return on investment and align with Travel Alberta’s business strategy. Cooperative Marketing funding is available to Alberta’s tourism industry whose projects comply with the Cooperative Marketing Guidelines and Eligible Expenses.

Funding guidelines, eligible expenses and application forms for projects seeking Travel Alberta co-op marketing funding April 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016 are now available for download.

2015-16 Program Update

Thank you Team Alberta for your participation in Travel Alberta’s 2015-16 Cooperative Marketing Investment Program. As of November 18, the 2015-16 program is nearing full subscription. As a result, we will be assessing new applications on an individual basis, based on remaining funds and established performance measures.

Applications for projects in the 2016-17 fiscal year will be accepted beginning January 1, 2016. The Cooperative Marketing Investment Program supports Alberta industry-led marketing initiatives to increase their marketing capacity resulting in increased tourism revenues. We look forward to connecting with you in 2016.
