Primary Function of the Position

To provide assistance and support to the Marketing team. This position is based in Calgary, but travel will be required. 

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Monitor and maintain social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, etc. for five different accounts.
  • Create, schedule, edit and distribute relevant content across social media platforms to attract new customers and increase public awareness.
  • Analyze performance data as well as content and make necessary changes to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Prepare monthly reports, analytics and KPI’s.
  • Communicate via social media with customers on a daily basis.
  • Aid in the development of digital marketing assets such as blogs and newsletters.


  • Updating and managing online directory listings.
  • Tracking marketing and print material to ensure we have enough supply each month.
  • Distributing marketing material to tourism agencies, visitor centers and throughout CRMR.
  • Maintaining a current knowledge of the products that the company has to offer.
  • Make website updates, including menus, photos and restaurant hours when required.
  • Coordinating business cards for all properties.
  • Coordinating donation requests.
  • Ordering office supplies, paper, toner for the printer and coordinating Xerox reads.
  • Brainstorm with the marketing team on new ideas and initiatives.
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing & Public Relations.


  • Assist with planning, registering and coordinating marketing materials for tradeshows, wedding shows, FAMS and events. Clear communication must be maintained throughout this process with the Marketing Manager & Director of Marketing & Public Relations.
  • Participating in consumer and wedding shows when required.
  • Coordinate all details for wedding shows and tri-property Christmas party.


  • Preparing a monthly report on media tracking.
  • Assisting with image media requests for lodges.   
  • Loading media kits onto USBs for media guests.


  • Acting as the first point of response to online reviews for CRMR’s mountain lodges and restaurants for Trip Advisor, Google, Yelp etc. Report trends each month.
  • Respond to guest reviews on social media platforms, and other third-party sites as required.
  • Crafting monthly reports regarding online reviews and discussing with the Guest Relations Manager & Operations Manager.

Experience / Education Preferred

  • 1-3 years Marketing experience.
  • Experience with Canon or Nikon DSLR camera required.   
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Previous work experience in a hotel or restaurant environment considered an asset.
  • Basic WordPress experience considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of MS Office coupled with excellent keyboarding skills.
  • An ability to take initiative, problem solve and multi-task.
  • A keen attention to detail.
