Let your passion, creativity and love of the mountain lifestyle come Alive with Banff & Lake Louise Tourism. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of our events and animation strategy that will generate increased visitation year round to Banff & Lake Louise.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in event planning and execution
  • Demonstrated fiscal management skills
  • Proven ability to maintain and manage positive relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Superior communication skills across audiences and formats (written and verbal); with ability to effectively present ideas and information to stakeholders, partners, members and team
  • Ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines while delivering strategic and operational results
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to keep composure in fast paced and high stress situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an openness to learning new technology and applications
  • Experience in managing people, demonstrating strong mentoring, leadership and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Education or relevant experience in business marketing or experiential marketing
