We are looking for an enthusiastic team-player to join our Tourism team as Administrative Assistant. This role serves as a significant resource for the Tourism leadership team and the department. To Make an Impact they will provide a full range of administrative support complimented by a friendly approach to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Job Details

The Administrative Assistant will be a “go to” person on the team for clerical and administrative tasks, and will be an approachable contact for internal departmental employees. This individual will manage travel arrangements, document management, internal communications, and expenses for the leadership team. Having familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems, and the upkeep of inventories will be a great asset to the team. Superb attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities will set this individual up for success. In addition, this role will coordinate divisional meetings and support projects for Tourism as delegated. As a coordinator of activities and internal departmental information, this confident and friendly individual will deliver an outstanding impression of the Tourism leadership team.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have experience in office administration, complemented by a post-secondary education in administration or a related field. This confident and extremely detail oriented person must have the ability to problem solve, be proactive with a “can-do” attitude and adapt to a variety of tasks and priorities.  In addition, this self-starter will be a master of communication who excels in a fast paced environment and has demonstrated the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities simultaneously.  With excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and database applications, this person will be able to work within all computer programs smoothly and efficiently.
