Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Consumer Marketing, USA; the Specialist, Partnership Marketing USA is responsible for managing marketing and administrative projects that contribute to the strategic and tactical proficiency of the North American marketing team.  This role communicates with industry partners and external clients, facilitates activities for the USA team, and provides administrative support. 

Position Requirements

As Specialist, Partnership Marketing USA your knowledge of the tourism industry, marketing trends and Alberta’s tourism product along with your innovative and creative approach will assist you in implementing multi-faceted activation plans. This position supports the business unit in the development and execution of partnerships, sponsorships and industry partner buy-ins that deliver Alberta messaging and brand to the consumer target market.

Your organization, effective time management and superior communication, together with your ability to act with conviction will establish and foster relationships with marketing partners, Alberta industry, agencies, and contractors. Your experience with budget tracking and reporting will ensure quality and timeliness of project execution.

Your education in Tourism, Business or Marketing is complemented with at least two years of consumer or event marketing experience. Your dedication and passion has taken your career to this point. Special Requirements

Some domestic and international travel may be required. Some overtime may be required.This is a term position ending November 12, 2013.

This position is based in the Calgary office. Classification: Specialist 3. Salary Range: $65,496 - $85,176 Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Employment Status: Term
