Alberta’s labour market is projected to grow by 400,000 workers from 2006 – 2016. Over the next 10 years Alberta could experience a labour shortage of approximately 96,000 positions. The Government of Alberta has established a new Ministry of Jobs, Skills, Training and Labour (JSTL), to focus on supporting Alberta’s employers to ensure that we have safe, fair and thriving workplaces and a skilled workforce to keep growing Alberta’s economy.

Join us as presenters provide an overview of this new ministry and how the Government of Alberta can assist organizations to attract and retain, local, national and international labour.
