Edmonton Food Tours expands tour offerings with spring Strathcona Feast tour

On Saturday, March 25 Edmonton Food Tours (a division of Alberta Food Tours, Inc.) launches its new Strathcona Feast tour. Starting at El Cortez Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar with Mexican style brunch, the tour heads to the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market where guests will have tastings at 10 market vendors and finishes with a beer tasting, tour and dessert at Situation Brewing.

"This food tour has been in the development for months and we are thrilled to partner with so many exciting food businesses and support Alberta farmers and ranchers," states Alberta Food Tours, Inc. president Karen Anderson. :Our tour guides share the history of the neighbourhood and the market while also acting as great resources for other things to do in the area and other ‘must try’ food businesses."

After a successful inaugural year in 2016, Edmonton Food Tours is expanding to provide year-round service to the city. The Strathcona Feast tour will run every Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. March 25 to May 13 and will resume again on October 14 and run until May of 2018. This tour is one of three tours in Edmonton that run year-round. The 104th Street Feast tour runs Saturdays May-October and Downtown Delights runs Tuesdays-Fridays from June through September.
