The Short Course at Silvertip

Silvertip Resort in Canmore has unveiled a par-58 Short Course experience, giving golfers a good chance to finish 18 holes in three hours or less. This experience is available for play one hour prior to twilight daily.

The new set of forward tees presents a series of 14 par 3s measuring a maximum of 150 yards and four par 4s measuring a maximum of 270 yards.

“We want to help grow the game in an innovative way,” says Steve Haggard, head golf professional at Stone Creek Resorts. “If you want to spend less time on the golf course, or perhaps find a long course a bit too challenging or simply want to try a new golf course experience at Silvertip, we’ve designed this course with you in mind."

Short Course tees were carefully positioned to provide guests with the best shot at the green on each hole. “High handicappers and scratch golfers will both enjoy this fun new way to play Silvertip,” says Haggard. “Playing an afternoon round is easily within reach, and we hope to see everyone try it.”
