New website launched

The new, a new improved gateway to access everything you need to know about Travel Alberta and programs, is now live.

“For Alberta tourism industry operators, this is the first stop to connect with more than 375,000 travellers from around the world who we reach every month through all our consumer channels, including,” said Bruce Okabe, Travel Alberta’s CEO.” This level of exposure would typically cost as much as $15,000 per month if you had to pay for the same quality of advertising,” said. “But this powerful marketing tool is provided to Alberta’s tourism industry free of charge by Travel Alberta.”

Alberta tourism operators are encouraged create new Alberta Tourism Information Service (ATIS) account on the website.  It is simple, one step sign on process and only takes a couple of minutes.

With an ATIS account, users can change business information; add travel offers, events & festivals listings, on  Travel Alberta’s consumer and campaign websites.

“This new website is the critical link that is so important to Travel Alberta’s mission to grow revenues with compelling invitations to experience Alberta,” said Okabe..  “The only way we will succeed in our mission is if you put more heads in beds, hips through turnstiles, or customers in seats.”
