French Tourism Guide and CanadaOuest Tourism App assist bilingual tour operators

The French Tourism Guide and the CanadaOuest Tourism app are useful tools that provide information to French speaking tourists about Alberta tourism products and services available in their language.

The French Tourism Guide is distributed in nearly 1,600 locations such as hotels, airports, restaurants, tourism information centers and tourist attractions in Alberta, as well as through a large network in Québec and Europe. For more information or to obtain a free copy of the 2013-14 guide, call toll free 1-866-PARTONS (727-8667), or visit us online at

The CanadaOuest Tourism App

is a navigational tool that allows French speaking tourists to visualize their travel itinerary via an iPhone or Android smartphone and iPad. It offers a real-time photo and video visualization of tourist sites with complete visit plans to help the mobile user identify interesting places to visit in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This app will encourage more Francophone and Francophile tourists from Canada and abroad to visit operators and destinations that offer bilingual services.
