Econometric Research Limited was commissioned to prepare an independent analysis of the importance and contributions of the tourism sector to the City, Region and Provincial economies. “Tourism in the Region of Grande Prairie has not generally been recognized as a substantial economic resource that makes a major contribution to the regional, local and provincial economies economy.
