Conference keynotes announced for TAIC 2017

Planning for the 2017 Travel Alberta Industry Conference is well underway. The event, held annually in Banff at the Fairmont Banff Springs, is a key component of Travel Alberta’s strategy to strengthen Alberta's competitive advantage.

It provides more than 600 Alberta tourism industry operators with an opportunity to network, learn and celebrate individuals and organizations excelling in and enhancing our tourism industry together. This award winning conference is the premier professional and personal development opportunity available in the tourism industry.

The 2017 line-up features three innovative, dynamic speakers that will help Alberta’s tourism industry think differently about the way they operate.

Speaker Josh Linkner is on a mission to make the world more creative. Named the “Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year” and as a “President Barack Obama Champion of Change” award recipient, Linkner both inspires and entertains: in speeches and workshops alike, he provides powerful and practical techniques to jumpstart creativity, getting people thinking out of the box in business and at home.

When organizations like Hyatt Hotels, NASA, Deloitte, the World Bank, and Zappos need to boost their customers' experience, they call on Joey Coleman for assistance. For over a decade, Joey has helped organizations retain their best customers and turn them into raving fans via his entertaining and actionable keynotes, workshops, and consulting projects. His First 100 Days methodology helps fuel successful customer experience endeavors at companies and organizations around the world.

Curt Steinhorst is on a mission to help today’s workforce win the battle against digital distractions. Having spent years studying the impact of tech on human behavior, he now equips professionals across the world to work smarter and stronger in this constantly-connected age.
