Meetings & Conventions Calgary (MCC) announces that Calgary has been chosen to host the 2015 Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) National Conference & Showcase. This prestigious event will take place October 28 – 30, 2015 and it is expected that 500 delegates will be in attendance.

CSAE’s National Conference & Showcase, acknowledged as the flagship education and networking opportunity for Canada’s associations and not-for-profit organizations, attracts hundreds of association executives and exhibitors each year.

“It is the ‘must-attend’ event for all association professionals, whether they represent trade, business and professional associations or charitable and philanthropic foundations and organizations”, says Gail McHardy, CSAE’s Director, Conference & Events.

Peter Gregus, Managing Director, Meetings & Conventions Calgary adds, “Calgary is a city that is vibrant and full of energy. We know this will be a draw and we look forward to providing an exciting delegate experience for CSAE. We are extremely proud to have been selected for 2015”.

The National Conference & Showcase will utilize a number of hotels in Calgary along with the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre as the host venue. Based on current economic impact figures the event will generate over half a million dollars in direct spending during the convention.

CSAE will rotate within Canada at the following cities:

Ottawa, November 1 - 3, 2012
Winnipeg, September 18 – 20, 2013
Niagara Falls, September 19 – 21, 2014

CSAE provides the environment, knowledge and resources its members need to develop excellence in not-for-profit leadership through education, networking, advocacy, information and research. The focus is to create member value and benefits that in turn contribute to creating a stronger society for Canadians.
