Nakiska has come to be known for its great groomed ski runs, the convenience of being in close proximity to the city and for its great value, which contributes to helping Nakiska set skier visit records for 3 years straight.

In addition, there have been recent significant enhancements from the NEW ski runs, widening and lengthening existing runs, NEW Gold High Speed Quad lift, enhanced Learning Area, upgrades to the daylodge, NEW snowmaking enhancements, enhanced Na.Jib.Ska Rail Park and the exciting addition of the NEW Ski/Board Cross Course!

“We are very proud of the great work and collaborative tourism development efforts, from Travel Alberta, Tourism Canmore and Go Ski Alberta,” says Matt Mosteller. “It’s a great success story of working together to grow tourism in Alberta and to bring more awareness, for the sport of skiing,” added Mosteller.

"Guests have also noted what’s making them choose to ski at Nakiska, it’s because of the high quality of skiing experience offered at Nakiska, the great ski and stay vacations at the Delta Lodge in Kananaskis at Nakiska and the incredible health benefits that skiing provides Albertans in the winter,” he continued.

Nakiska is also pleased to announce the RCR & Husky Grade 2 Funpass; a program that provides all 7 year olds (or Grade 2 students) in Alberta FREE Skiing each season is also having a record number of participants! We are proud of this commitment by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and Husky to get Alberta’s kids healthy and active during winter!
