Glacier Skywalk Wins a Governor General's Medal in Architecture

Congratulations to Brewster Travel Canada for this achievement!

Brewster's Glacier Skywalk and its lead design architect Jeremy Sturgess, FRAIC, has been named recipient of a Governor General's Medal for Architecture.

The amazing structure of walkways and glass bottomed platforms provides visitors with the unique experience of standing above a 980 ft drop in the Rocky Mountains, and has been described as a "perfect balance of breathtaking views, interpretive story-telling and adrenaline-pumping excitement."

The Governor General's Medals in Architecture award Canadian architects for outstanding achievements in recently built projects.
