UPDATE: As of April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada are no longer required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Random on-arrival testing is still in effect, and travellers must still use the ArriveCAN app. Please note that you may have to uninstall and reinstall the ArriveCAN app to reflect the April 1st changes.

As countries around the world establish a sustainable approach to long-term management of COVID-19, public health measures and travel restrictions have been eased in Alberta and Canada.  This means masks and proof of vaccination records are no longer required in most indoor settings including restaurants, stores, and public spaces. Up-to-date information on Alberta’s three-step approach to gradually phase out public health measures can be found here.

Albertans are still able to access their vaccine record via alberta.ca/vaccinerecords and through My Health Records.
