We are searching for a solutions-based marketing professional with an innovative and collaborative approach to join our Visitor Services team. In taking on this role, you will be ready to develop, implement and monitor the success of marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, promotional plans, publications and other marketing tools. This position demands creativity, superb writing skills for various mediums, familiarity with marketing metrics and experience with managing project budgets. Your flexibility and organizational skills will be demonstrated in handling a variety of projects simultaneously and shifting priorities while looking at the broader picture. Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities will allow you to build and foster professional industry relationships and sponsorship arrangements.
Completion of postsecondary education in a related field and progressive experience in marketing or communications and strategic planning are essential. Knowledge of Alberta’s tourism industry, the public sector and parliamentary process are definite assets.
Salary up to $64,860, dependent on qualifications. A comprehensive benefit package is also available.
