Reporting to the Manager, Global Brand; the Specialist, Digital Asset Management (DAM) is responsible for the organization, cataloguing, storage and distribution of digital assets for Travel Alberta, its partners and stakeholders. This role will establish and maintain effective business relationships with Travel Alberta partners and the tourism industry at large and provide training and support to user groups.
As Specialist, Digital Asset Management you understand asset management systems and search technologies. Your organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills will enable you to set up a comprehensive, up-to-date inventory as well as identify and analyze asset gaps and workflow effectiveness. Your service-driven attitude and eye for photographic style and design will support the requirements of a diverse user group and will be key in conveying the Travel Alberta brand message. Your technological aptitude, knowledge of design software, and file types as well as your communication skills enhances your ability to train and support team members and external users.
Your education in Archive Management, Library Sciences, Communications or a related field is complemented with three years of digital asset management experience. Previous photography course experience would be considered an asset. Your dedication and passion has taken your career to this point. Some travel is required. Some overtime may be required.
This position is based in the Calgary office.
Classification: Specialist 1, Salary Range: $56,328 - $73,224
Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Employment Status: 1 Year Term
