Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Industry Development; the Executive Assistant to Vice President, Industry Development; and Vice President, Community Relations is responsible for managing schedules, facilitating communication, promoting team development and providing comprehensive administrative support to the VPs and the Industry Development team. This individual will also be the main office contact for the operation of all front desk duties, including couriers, mail management, incoming telephone calls and greeting visitors and public in a courteous manner. This position communicates and collaborates daily with the Executive Assistant to the CEO to organize and support the initiatives and communications of the business units and executive leadership team.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working with senior management and external stakeholders
  • Customer service experience in a professional office environment
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills to allow prioritizing of workload, working within tight timelines, and handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Project coordination experience including process and system improvement and development
  • Knowledge of general office policies and procedures
  • Budget and expense reconciliation knowledge

A diploma in business administration and at least three years of executive assistant experience has prepared you for this opportunity. Your dedication and passion has taken you to this point. Special Requirements

Some travel may be required. Some overtime may be required.

This position is based in the Edmonton office. Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Employment Status: 1 Year Term

Term: August 2015-September 2016
