The Town of High Level is interested in retaining a consultant (individual or company) to provide event coordination duties and seeks proposals from firms that could supply expertise in ice carving events to the Town.
The Town of High Level is celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2015 and as part of the year of celebrations, we are hosting a snow and ice carving event on December 5th 2015 as part of our Wrap-up event. This event should encapsulate the spirit of the 50th Anniversary by featuring snow and ice carvings that represent our local history. Along with the 50th theme, we would also like to celebrate the community spirit by hosting this free community event. If possible, we would like this event to encourage the creative side of our local residents through community workshops as well as showcase the talents of professional carvers. Pending on the success of this event, we would like this event to be one of the legacy events stemming from the 50th Anniversary year, resulting in an annual event for years to come.
The Town of High Level is currently accepting proposals for an Event Coordinator for the 2015 50th Anniversary Snow and Ice Carving event scheduled to be held on December 5th 2015. The successful proponent will be responsible for organizing, coordinating and managing the Snow and Ice event in coordination with the Town’s Community Development staff and 50th Anniversary Planning Committee.
