Summary

Use the search bar at the top of My Listings to quickly find a listing by name or keywords that appear in its description.

The search function matches partial words, is not fuzzy (exact character matches only), and runs across all tabs: Active, Drafts, Action Required, and Archived.

How to search

Use search any time you need to open or update a specific listing (for example, to edit content, change categories, preview, add photos, or archive).

  1. Go to My Listings in ATIS
  2. Click on the search icon at the top of the page
  3. Click on the search bar at the top of the page
  4. Type a word or part of a word from the listing’s name or description (for example, “gondola” or “tram”)
  5. Results will update instantly
    1. Note: When the search bar is open, the Listings tabs are hidden, however, search results listings will be displayed from all tabs
  6. Click a listing name in the results to open and edit it
    1. You can choose a listing to edit from the drop-down or from the list

How it works

The search bar function considers the following:

  • Included: Listing name, listing description
  • Matching: Case-insensitive, partial-word matches are supported (for example, “tram” matches “SkyTram”)
  • Not included: Fuzzy matching/typo tolerance (for example, “gondloa” will not match “gondola”)

Real-world examples

Some good search bar examples for a listing name include:

  • “Banff Gondola” → Banff Gondola
  • “Jasper SkyTram” or “SkyTram” → Jasper SkyTram
  • “Studio Bell” → Studio Bell – National Music Centre
  • “Royal Tyrrell Museum” → Royal Tyrrell Museum

Some good search bar examples for a listing description include:

  • “glass-floored” or “Skywalk” → Columbia Icefield Skywalk (glass-floored observation platform)
  • “Spirit Island” → Maligne Lake Cruise (cruises visit Spirit Island)
  • “snowshoe fondue” → Sunshine Village Historical Snowshoe and Fondue Tour
  • “steam train” or “paddlewheel ship” → Heritage Park Historical Village
  • “bison” or “northern lights” → Elk Island National Park (bison conservation, Dark Sky viewing)
  • “Penguin Plunge” or “butterfly garden” → Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo

Tips

  • Use distinctive words from your title or description (for example, a trail, mountain, or exhibit name)
  • Because partial words match, start typing a fragment if you’re unsure of spelling (for example, “gondo” or “pengi”)
  • If there are no results, check your spelling or try a different keyword
  • If you’ve recently edited a title/description, it may take a few minutes for the application cache to update
