Accessing your ATIS account, listings, and organization

The current ATIS platform launched with a dedicated process for existing users to claim their listings. That process is now closed.

If you’re experiencing a disconnect between your ATIS account and the listings or organizations you should be managing, this article explains the most common scenarios and how to resolve them.

Whether you’re new to an organization, returning to ATIS after some time away, or noticing something doesn’t look quite right, there are clear steps—and support available—to help ensure you have the correct access.

Why manage your listings in ATIS?

ATIS is Travel Alberta’s free, centralized platform for managing tourism listings that appear on travelalberta.com and across a growing ecosystem of partner websites, APIs, and AI-powered tools.

By having access to the correct organization and listings in ATIS, you can:

  • Control how your tourism products and experiences are represented on travelalberta.com
  • Keep your information accurate, up to date, and traveller‑ready
  • Take advantage of a high‑value marketing opportunity at no cost
  • Ensure your content is available for use across digital channels and emerging technologies

If you don’t have the right access, your listings may still be live — but you won’t be able to update or manage them effectively.

Common access scenarios and how to resolve them

There are several ways listings and organizations may need to be connected (or corrected) in ATIS. Find the situation that best matches yours below.

You’re new to an organization or role

If you’ve recently joined an organization that already has listings in ATIS:

  1. Create your free ATIS account at
    https://atis.travelalberta.com
  2. Ask the primary ATIS user for your organization to grant you access
  3. They can do this using Manage Team Members in the My Account section

If the main ATIS user is no longer available or cannot be reached, you can contact the Travel Alberta Contact Centre (TACC) for help associating your account with the correct organization.

Your ATIS account already exists, but you can’t log in

If you believe you already have an ATIS account but can’t remember your password or how to log in:

  1. Go to the ATIS login page:
    https://atis.travelalberta.com/login
  2. Select Forgot Password
  3. Use the same email address originally associated with your ATIS account

Once you successfully log in, you should see the organization(s) and listings you’re associated with, provided your account is correctly linked.

You have an ATIS account, but don’t see the organization or listings you need

If you can log in but aren’t associated with the organization that contains the listings you should be managing, contact the Travel Alberta Contact Centre (TACC).

Contact TACC

Once TACC confirms you should be connected to that organization, they can assign your ATIS user account to it. This will give you access to all listings associated with that organization.

You see a listing on travelalberta.com that should belong to your organization

If a listing appears on travelalberta.com and is related to your business or organization — but does not appear in ATIS under your organization, reach out to the Travel Alberta Contact Centre (TACC).

Contact TACC

They can review the listing and reassign it to the correct ATIS organization if needed.

Your organization has listings that don’t belong to you

If you notice listings in ATIS that are assigned to your organization but shouldn’t be, contact the Travel Alberta Contact Centre (TACC).

They can remove those listings and reassign them to the correct organization.

You’re assigned to the wrong ATIS organization

If your ATIS user account is associated with an organization you should not be connected to, contact the Travel Alberta Contact Centre (TACC).

They can remove your account from the incorrect organization and help ensure you’re set up properly.

Review your listings

Once you have the correct access in ATIS, it’s important to review your listings to ensure everything is accurate and up to date.

Check the following:

  • Business name and description
  • Contact details and website links
  • Location information
  • Photos and media
  • Categories and attributes

Accurate listings help travellers make informed decisions and ensure your business is represented correctly across Travel Alberta’s digital channels.

How to manage team members

If you’re responsible for managing access for others in your organization, you can add or remove users directly in ATIS.

From My Account, use Manage Team Members to:

  • Invite new users
  • Grant or revoke access
  • Ensure the right people can manage your organization’s listings

Keeping team access up to date helps prevent confusion and ensures continuity when roles or staff change.

Yes, Travel Alberta will move all your published listings to the new ATIS platform.

However, ATIS has a new categorization system, so it’s important to review and confirm they still accurately reflect your offering type.

Travel Alberta will not be moving unpublished listings to the new ATIS platform.

There are three possible reasons why your offering isn't appearing on travelalberta.com:

  • You don't have an ATIS account yet. Learn how to set up your ATIS account and ATIS tourism listings here.
  • Your listing does not meet the criteria. If you’ve submitted a listing for approval but it was not accepted, you'll be notified via email with the reason and what steps to take.
  • It’s on the way! Your listing should be reviewed in under 72 hours. Once approved, your listing will appear immediately on travelalberta.com. It may take an additional 1–2 weeks for Google to index your listing and display it as a result when using the Travel Alberta search function.
