Report to: Director of Marketing & Public Relations

Wage: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Hours: 30-40 hours, flexible.

  • To coordinate all print material for CRMR Family of Companies & support CRMR restaurant marketing initiatives. 
Printing Duties
  • To coordinate all of the print material for CRMR Marketing/Sales/Restaurants/HR/others as assigned.
  • Work on a Minolta Print Machine.
  • Print manuals, brochures, menus, marketing material, HR material, business cards, booklets and other items as required.
  • Test runs and proofs will be required. Timelines set, parameters and dimensions calculated.
  • Mark up print documents to ensure proper alignment from back to front.
  • Understand which type of paper is used for each job.
  • A manual will be set up, jobs listed, information outlined, samples provided.
  • Communication on a daily basis with the Director of Marketing & Public Relations and Marketing Team.
  • Ordering supplies, ink, paper, etc. 
  • Handling tight deadlines, communicating to all internal and external customers.
  • Coordinating print orders with Unicom for cutting, scoring or punching.
  • Computer work with excel, word and perhaps power point.
  • Attention to detail involved on a daily basis. 
  • Excellent organization of jobs and supplies.
  • Always trying to improve quality and cost.
  • Regular production work with much detail.
  • Print schedules to be set up and communicated to everyone.
  • Costs to be arranged and communicated to all.
  • Manage inventory of marketing materials.
  • Suggestions and outlines discussed on a regular basis.
Marketing Duties:
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, etc. for our three restaurants. 
  • Create, edit, curate and distribute relevant content across social media platforms to attract new customers and increase public awareness.
  • Aid in the development of digital marketing assets such as blogs. 
  • Use the company DSLR to create photos and content for social media and blogs.
  • Attend offsite events & be knowledgeable about CRMR Family of companies, when required. 
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Manager – City and Director of Marketing & Public Relations with any other relevant tasks. 
  • Ability to use a DSLR camera is required. 
  • Experience in using Hootsuite is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have computer knowledge including Microsoft office software.
  • Excel skills intermediate to advanced. 
  • Hospitality experience is an asset.
  • Above average organizational and time management skills required.
  • Physical work involved including lifting, bending, walking, stretching, carrying.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Creative abilities and passion.
