Travel Alberta is poised for its journey of excellence to become Canada’s pre-eminent tourism marketing agency.  Collaborating with private and public sectors at home and internationally, Travel Alberta will develop and deliver research-based marketing programs to enable the tourism economy in Alberta to grow and prosper.  

Position Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director, e-Marketing; the Coordinator, E-mail Marketing is responsible for executing targeted e-mail marketing initiatives that support our regional and international marketing campaigns. Using the ExactTarget’s e-mail software and working closely with marketing and technical Team Members; the Coordinator, e-Mail Marketing will build impactful HTML e-mails for travelers to Alberta.     

Position Requirements

As Coordinator, E-mail Marketing you understand the best practices of consumer and e-mail marketing strategies.  You are an analytical and creative thinker with organizational skills that enables you to continuously improve Travel Alberta’s e-mail campaigns and processes. You also have experience with HTML, Microsoft Excel and web analytic solutions. Your attitude, communication and problem solving skills enhance your ability to build relationships with Team Members and third party venders. A diploma in Marketing or related field is complemented with 2 years of experience with ExactTarget or a similar software. Your dedication and passion has taken your career to this point. Now, it is time to advance to a new level by stepping into Travel Alberta’s exciting working environment!     

Special Requirements

Some travel may be required. Some overtime may be required.

This position is based in the Calgary office.  Classification: Coordinator 3, Salary Range: $50,328 - $62,904 Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Employment Status: 1-year term
