Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Industry Development, the Manager, Cooperative Marketing is responsible for developing strong, ongoing relationships with Alberta tourism industry partners. This leadership role will provide partners with recommended marketing strategies and tactics to help them achieve their marketing goals through the Cooperative Marketing program. This position plays an integral part in ensuring that industry stakeholders are linking to Travel Alberta’s strategic direction and marketing opportunities.   

Position Requirements 

As Manager, Cooperative Marketing you understand the intricacies of tourism marketing, the tourism industry and its stakeholders. Your experience with political relationship management and your ability to listen and collaborate with industry will enable you to act with conviction. Previous experience working with granting programs is an asset. Your energy and leadership with respect to marketing consultation will engage industry partners throughout the Province.

A degree/diploma in business, marketing, or related field complements at least three years in a similar business or marketing role. Dedication and passion for tourism and marketing has taken your career to this point. Now, it is time to advance to a new level by stepping into Travel Alberta’s exciting working environment!   

Special Requirements:
-Frequent in-province travel.
-This position is based in Edmonton
-Relocation assistance available
