Position Summary

This is a dual report position to the Director, Public Relations and Media and the Director, Communications. The Team Coordinator, Media and Communications, is responsible for project coordination and administrative support for the Media and Communication team.      

Position Requirements

As Team Coordinator, Media and Communications you understand the importance of organization and attention to detail. You have knowledge of invoicing and accounting procedures and experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Your experience in project coordination, compiling information, report creation and budget tracking and reconciling will enable you to operate with accountability. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to work well under pressure. Your positive attitude, creativity, excellent communication and problem solving skills enhance your ability to build relationships with team members and industry partners.  

Specialized education in the fields of Communications, Public Relations, Business, Accounting, Tourism or Marketing, would be beneficial, complimented with three years of professional administrative experience. Your dedication and passion has taken your career to this point. Now, it is time to advance to a new level by stepping into Travel Alberta’s exciting working environment!     

Special Requirements

Some travel may be required. Some overtime may be required.

This position is based in the Calgary office. Classification: Coordinator 3, Salary Range: $ 52,344 - $65,424 Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Employment Status: 1 Year Term
